We Remember Rev. Dr. Gerald L. Keown

Rev. Dr. Gerald L. Keown, retired Associate Dean and Profesor Emeritus of Old Testament Interpretation at Gardner-Webb University School of Divinity, died early Tuesday morning (December 14). Dr. Keown, who served as a professor and associate dean at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY prior to joining the Gardner-Webb faculty in 1996, was a longtime active member of the National Association of Baptist Professors of Religion and served a term as President of the NABPR–Southeast Region. His memorial service was held on Saturday, December 18 at 1:00 PM at Fernwood Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC: 200 Fernwood Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
