Description
The Department of Religion at Baylor University seeks to fill a position at the rank of Assistant to Associate Professor in New Testament to start August 1, 2025. The Department of Religion offers both undergraduate and Ph.D. courses.

Qualifications
- The successful candidate must have a Ph.D., Th.D., or D.Phil.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated R1 research agenda, and the ability to seek external funding.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- The ability to attract and mentor doctoral students is desirable.
- The successful candidate will also demonstrate active involvement in Baptist congregational life.
